Cisco 300-135 exam is to qualify the candidates for getting Cisco CCNP Routing and Switching certification. The candidates are required to be capable of using technology based ITIL compliant and practices troubleshooting the network.

Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks 300-135 exam is comprises of total 15-25 questions and the time for solution of these questions is 135 minutes. The candidates are required to get registered with Pearson VUE for getting CCNP Routing and switching certification. The exam is available only in English language.

Network Principles

The 5 % of exam questions are to check the knowledge of candidates about principles of network such as how to apply the methodologies of Cisco for troubleshooting and what is the process of using Cisco IOS troubleshooting tools.

Layer 2 Technologies

40% questions in the exam are designed with the purpose to check the knowledge of candidates about Layer 2 technologies. The questions are designed to check the knowledge of candidates about troubleshooting switch administration such as SDM templates. The abilities required for troubleshooting EtherChannels such as load balancing, LACP, Layer 2 and Layer 3 moreover the skills and knowledge of troubleshooting the spanning tree other LAN switching technologies is tested and validated by the exam for the successful candidates.

Layer 3 Technologies

The knowledge about Layer 3 technologies is tested and validated in the exam by mainly focusing on the process of troubleshooting of subnetting and IPv4 addressing as DHCP protocol operations, DHCP relay and server. The process for troubleshooting of IPv6 subnetting and protocols such as Unicast, EUI-64, ND, RS/RA and autoconfig is checked and validated by the exam.

The knowledge about IPv4 Network  Address Translation is also tested and validated by the exam.
